Serene Scenery

Peter Tobin dreamed of creating the Doveton Park Funeral Centre, the ideal space for families to celebrate the life of their loved one.

Indoors, we have a spacious chapel with an open fire and indoor garden. Our beautiful arrangement rooms overlook the gardens and make for a private and tranquil space.

Outdoors we have the lake itself, as well as the ‘Albert Graham’ fernery chapel, Peppers Point, The Waterfall Lawn, and the garden area, all set out across 7 acres of lush bushland.

Founded in 1934

The first funeral conducted by Tobin Brothers Funerals was for Ena Margaret Price in 1934. In its first year, the company conducted 53 funerals and after the payment of creditors and the collection of debts, it made a modest profit.
