Celebrating the life of a loved one is different for every family, and we believe in providing you with all the information and options available so that we can tailor a farewell that is most fitting for your loved one.

Types of Services
The most common types of Funeral Services are:
Single Service
A Funeral Service held at a single location.
A single service funeral can take place at one of our funeral chapels, a church, a crematorium chapel, at the graveside or a special place, such as a park or community hall.
This funeral service incorporates a final committal process, and there is no procession to the cemetery or crematorium.
- Chapel funeral held at a Tobin Brothers Chapel
- Twilight Chapel funeral held at a Tobin Brothers Chapel
- Arrival Funeral held at a Crematorium Chapel or at the Graveside
Dual Service
A Church/Chapel Funeral Service, followed by a Cemetery/Crematorium Service.
A Dual Funeral Service is a funeral held in two parts, with the first service taking place at either a chapel, church, or other chosen venue, followed by a procession to the final committal service at either the cemetery or crematorium.
Examples:
- Initial funeral service held at a church, followed by the committal ceremony graveside.
- Initial funeral service at Tobin Brothers Chapel, followed by committal ceremony at crematorium.
Memorial Service
A Memorial Service takes place after a private burial or cremation.
A memorial follows much of the same structure that a funeral does, however the deceased is generally not present at the service.
It is not uncommon for a memorial service to take place weeks or even months after their death, and allows more flexibility of time and arrangements than a traditional funeral.
We can help you arrange a memorial, or look after the committal only; the choice is completely up to you and we are always here to help.

Such caring and detail-oriented people who made our family's life easier as we made arrangements after my mother's sudden death. They were compassionate, had a clearly laid out menu of offerings and prices (we held the service at a local venue and they handled everything), and provided as much support as needed (e.g. the Tributes team was happy to answer all my geeky questions about photo resolution and so on so her photo memorial was just right), and they handled all the printing, webcast production (a lot of people attended remotely as Mum had friends and family all around the world), etc. The celebrant who they hired for the service was superb - caring, professional, dedicated enough time to get to know enough about my mother and talk through how to craft the order of service so the full picture of her life could be painted.

We were left devastated when my brother in law passed away unexpectedly, he had no funeral fund so we spoke to several different funeral homes. Tobin Bros was the most competitively priced and it in no way did it look like a budget funeral. We were treated with so much compassion and respect and nothing was an issue.
