At Tobin Brothers Funerals we take great pride in maintaining our fleet of vehicles and have various options to choose from. For some families the make, style or colour of our vehicles can be an important aspect when planning a funeral, for others, simply having a reliable means of transport with their own personal driver allows them more space to focus on the day itself.

All vehicle prices are inclusive of GST.
It is important to note that from time to time we do need to hire additional vehicles for client families and we will always endeavour to ensure that these vehicles are complementary to our fleet.

Our Fleet
At Tobin Brothers we take great pride in maintaining our fleet of vehicles and in providing you and your family with exceptional service. On board all of our vehicles you will be provided with complementary tissues, mints, and water and a dedicated driver.
Our premium vehicles allow for higher occupancy and boast a range of advanced features, including: flat screen television, DVD Player, casket area, floral rack, microwave, refrigerator, accessible entry, and tinted windows.

Within our own fleet we have a number of unique and prestigious vehicles including a Harley Hearse, which allows for any Tobin Brothers coffin or casket to be carried on its custom made sidecar bed. We are also able to procure any vehicle to suit your needs and preferences, be it for logistics or sentimental purposes. What types of funeral vehicles are available?
We offer a range of funeral vehicles, including hearses, mourning cars, and coaches.
These vehicles are designed to provide a dignified and respectful transport service for your family and for your loved one's final journey.
What is a cortege in a funeral?
A cortege is an organised and solemn parade of vehicles during a funeral, showing respect to the deceased and accompanying them to their final resting place.
While different families and cultures may have specific customs related to cortege arrangements, it is generally led by the hearse, and followed by close family and friends in their own vehicles.
Not only is it a formal and respectful way to say goodbye, but it is another way that mourners can come together and honour their loved one.
Do I need a funeral vehicle?
While it is certainly not compulsory to use a funeral vehicle, it is something we recommend to all of our client families.

One hearse is included in the Tobin Brothers professional service fee.

Can I choose the type of vehicle for the funeral procession?
Yes, you have the freedom to choose the vehicle that best suits your preferences and needs. Your Funeral Planner can help you explore the options.
Are the vehicles equipped for the deceased's casket?
Our hearses are specially designed to accommodate the casket. They are equipped with secure and respectful arrangements to ensure your loved one's peace.
Can a baby or booster seat be fitted in your vehicles?
Yes, we can accommodate child seats in our vehicles.
It is up to you to provide this seating, and in the interest of safety we ask that you fit the seat yourself prior to departure.
It is compulsory in Victoria for babies and children up to 7 years old to use a child seat or booster seat and our drivers will not under any circumstances break the law.
Please ensure you have the correct seating for your child and leave appropriate time for fitting it into our vehicles.

Such caring and detail-oriented people who made our family's life easier as we made arrangements after my mother's sudden death. They were compassionate, had a clearly laid out menu of offerings and prices (we held the service at a local venue and they handled everything), and provided as much support as needed (e.g. the Tributes team was happy to answer all my geeky questions about photo resolution and so on so her photo memorial was just right), and they handled all the printing, webcast production (a lot of people attended remotely as Mum had friends and family all around the world), etc. The celebrant who they hired for the service was superb - caring, professional, dedicated enough time to get to know enough about my mother and talk through how to craft the order of service so the full picture of her life could be painted.

My Dad recently passed away, and I called a few Funeral Homes, until I spoke with Shannon at Tobin Bros Wodonga. Her kindness, compassion and care are nothing short of amazing. We were left devastated when my brother in law passed away unexpectedly, he had no funeral fund so we spoke to several different funeral homes. Tobin Bros was the most competitively priced and it in no way did it look like a budget funeral. We were treated with so much compassion and respect and nothing was an issue. We were offered an in house celebrant that conducted the service beautifully, he met with us before the funeral to get a feel for my brother in laws personality and life so that he could really personalise the service.
Nikita the young funeral director that looked after us has a maturity and natural compassion beyond her years, she was so beautiful, kind and caring. We were so grateful for the respect and care she had for us and our brother in law.
