In the wake of Neale Daniher AO’s passing last week, and with Big Freeze 12 set to take place this weekend, we take a moment to revisit a podcast conversation that highlights his enduring legacy and unwavering determination.
This Is Your Football Life hosted by Rex Hunt, was recorded back in 2015, just a few days before the first Fight MND Big Freeze game at the MCG on what was then the Queen’s Birthday weekend.
Although Tobin Brothers sponsored the program, we removed all Tobin Brothers credits from the episode at the time to give full focus to Fight MND.
Originally airing on the Sunday before the inaugural Queen’s Birthday clash in 2015, it was a fascinating interview then, and carries even greater significance today.
This week, Big Freeze 12 will take place on King’s Birthday weekend, culminating in the Monday clash between Collingwood and Melbourne.
