How much does a funeral cost?

We are often asked ‘How much does a funeral cost?’, and this can be challenging to answer because it depends on the service requested, which can differ greatly from person to person.

In our efforts to clear and transparent information around funeral services and pricing, we have created an automated fee proposal.

We have provided only the most ‘essential’ elements of a funeral to give you an idea of the expected pricing, but you are more than welcome to enquire about additional products and services, as well as the associated costs to include them in the service.

Casket

While a casket tends to be more rectangular in profile and intricate in design, a coffin has the more traditional shape that comes to mind, with tapered head and feet. Note: A coffin his more likely to have a flat lid and handles, whereas a casket generally has a single rail for pall bearers and a domed lid that is hinged for viewing purposes.
