21/05/1950 – 21/05/2022

Coral passed away peacefully at Caritas Christie Hospice in Kew early on Saturday 21/05/2022, surrounded by her family, aged 72.

Coral’s family would like to thank all of the staff at St Vincent’s and Caritas Christie for the exceptional care and support they provided to both Coral and her family during her cancer treatment and palliative care.

Coral was a devoted wife of over 50 years to her beloved husband Fred. She was a loving mother to her children, Michelle & Matthew and mother-in-law to Steven & Amber. Coral was especially proud of her grandchildren, Ashton, Emily, Lincoln & Georgia.

Coral was a hardworking, selfless and devoted woman known for her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and willingness to help others in need. Despite experiencing the sudden loss of her first child Karen, she was determined to live a life of joy and happiness and this tragedy made her more compassionate and empathetic toward others. Coral was always willing to offer support, strength and comfort when times were tough. Coral had a smile for everyone and she made an effort to connect with anyone she met. While her kind-hearted generosity knew no bounds, if needed, Coral could be just as fiercely protective of her family.

Putting her family’s needs before her own, Coral lived simply and rarely asked for anything more than a cup of tea. She loved her garden and even more, she adored her variety of pet dogs who were all treated as very much part of the family.

Whether you knew her as Mum, Nanny, Aunty Cozzie or simply Coral, she leaves us with a lifetime of memories of a life filled with love and laughter. May she rest in peace.

From her loving family.
