Pat Walsh died at home with his wife Annie and daughters Suzannah, Mayra and Patricia by his side. He was diagnosed with lymphoma in October. A self-described ‘happy spouse, father, grandfather, gardener, writer, volunteer and human rights advocate’. Those who knew him saw these and more.

Sadly missed by all his family and those who witnessed and were touched by the compassion of his life.

The Requiem Mass in celebration and thanksgiving for the life of Pat Walsh will be held on Tuesday 13 January 2026 at 11:00am at St Joseph’s Catholic Church 140 Westbourne Grove Northcote.

A memorial wake will follow at the Peacock Inn Hotel 210 High St Northcote with some speeches, poetry and music.

 

Pat will be Buried at Camperdown Cemetery, 35 Cemetery Road, Camperdown. On Wednesday 14 January at 2:30pm alongside several generations of his family.
