Tobin Brothers St Albans - Celebrating our Local Community
Tobin Brothers St Albans proudly support community events, churches and community groups in our local area. Through sponsorships and events we strengthen our community ties and remain an active part of our community in St Albans and surrounding suburbs.
Brimbank Central Rotary Club
Tobin Brothers Funerals Branch Manager, Lou Gionfriddo, is a past president of the Brimbank Central Rotary Club which has enabled Lou to participate in many and varied community activities, such as local art shows with schools in Brimbank. Tobin Brothers Funerals are wonderful supporters of Rotary and the ideals it stands for. The Rotary Club gives people an opportunity to achieve things that they might not get to try without such support.
Resurrection Parish Kings Park
Tobin Brothers Funerals as a whole offers a number of programs to families that have experienced a death of a loved one. Tobin Brothers St Albans are supporting a six week course for care givers with Resurrection Parish Kings Park, participants will be given excellent tools that they will be able to use as care givers. The monthly Loss and Grief group also meet at the parish and this has been an ongoing gathering for four years or so.
The Beacon Foundation

Victoria University
Each year, Tobin Brothers St Albans host a seminar for student nurses from Victoria University. Branch manager, Lou Gionfriddo and Tobin Brothers Community Education Manager, Samantha Rennie conduct a seminar detailing what happens to the deceased once they are transferred into our care. The students are also given valuable information on grief and how to guide families in their time of need, the importance of a funeral and celebrating the life of a loved one and how Tobin Brothers plan a funeral to suit the needs of the family. This programme started a number of years ago and has been well recognised by Victoria University. It is now part of their curriculum for junior nurses.
